The nursing home is situated amidst residential estates and in close proximity to a park connector network.
The building aims for a natural connection with its domestic neighbourhood surroundings and a
peaceful ambience for healing within a garden atmosphere. Each
bedroom cluster on a residential floor is carefully planned with an
accompanying therapeutic corner, with the termination of each corridor
vista ending in greenery. This project adopts a hybrid PPVC system,
where a combination of steel with reinforced concrete allows for a
module of reduced weight, thereby allowing the creation of large
column-free spaces like the centralised dayroom.
