The Design & Health International Academy Awards has a significant influence on the design and development of salutogenic environments that support health, wellbeing and quality of life around the world. Khoo Teck Puat – National University Children’s Medical Institute was the Winner for International Health Project Under 40,000sqm. KTP-NUCMI demonstrated successful execution of effective clinical design, sustainability and showed how innovative design amidst on-going flexibility in use while achieving user satisfaction for patient, staff and visitors. The centre was conceptualized from the perspective of the child and is an excellent example of well integrated functional and healing design. The award is a recognition of our commitment to excellence in architecture design from a global perspective.
