Gazetted as the first “modern day” national monument, Jurong Town Hall (JTH) sits prominently atop a hill.

JTH is converted into a trade association hub housing many associations under the same roof, encouraging collaboration and learning opportunities among like-minded associates within the newly refurbished interiors, while preserving the facade and building form.

The preservation efforts and sensitive approach recognizes JTH’s historical significance, yet relevant in the modern day context. The renovated spaces require re-planning to ensure the suitability for JTH to operate as a trade association hub. Key architectural elements such as lighting, landscape and connectivity were planned to fit with the new uses, ensuring a highly collaborative working and learning environment.
